Speaking of Philadelphia wasting taxpayer money, their city council’s salary falls into that category. If it didn’t, they wouldn’t be passing meaningless legislation — such as declaring the city officially “pro-choice” — while the burg’s murder rate leads among America’s ten largest cities:
The resolution, which has no practical implications, was approved on a contentious 9-to-8 vote.
It proclaims that the city supports “women’s reproductive rights and freedom” and defends “the right to choose a legal and safe abortion as a final but critical option for women.”
As opposed to focusing on the “final but critical option” for young Philadelphia men where they make the tragic but necessary decision to empty a round in someone’s skull, thereby committing retroactive abortion.
